Any 6th or 7th grade girls interested in playing basketball next year (2021-2022) please sign up outside the office by Tomorrow-- There will be an informational meeting at the end of April for those interested in playing and receiving a summer schedule. Volleyball Clinic and Volleyball Camp forms for any girl currently in grades 5th, 6th, and 7th will be outside the middle school office. You can also register online – Check your student email for the link at: https://forms.gle/neADxfmrL4hHj716A
There is a signup sheet for all 6th and 7th grade girls interested in cheering next school year. Please sign up outside the office if you are interested. There will be a meeting with all those that signed up later this school year.
This summer Four County Career Center will be offering a FREE interactive, hands-on summer camp for students entering grades 7 & 8 in the Fall. Register on-line soon to hold a spot. Classes are limited to 12 students per camp.

FOUR COUNTY CAREER CENTER SUMMER CAMP INFO: This summer, from June 7th through the 10th, Four County Career Center will be offering a FREE interactive, hands-on summer camp for students who will be entering grades 7, 8, and 9 in the Fall of 2021. The link below includes registration and the flyer that details the four camp topics being offered for Summer 2021. Classes are limited to 12 students per camp. SO don’t delay. Register soon to hold a spot in your favorite camp experience.

All students are reminded to prepare for tomorrow’s first state ELA test by getting a good night’s sleep tonight and eating a healthy breakfast on Wednesday morning. 7th and 8th grade Testing Location Lists are displayed in each of the three south hallways. Find your name sometime today along with your testing location before tomorrow’s start. Success awaits all of you!
This morning following announcements we will be conducting tornado safety drills. To allow for social distancing, each teacher was assigned to either Group 1, 2, 3, or 4. We will make an announcement when it is your group’s turn and when your time is complete. Please be quiet in the hallways, as other students will be in class.
As you know, Wednesday begins State testing of ELA. You will report to 1st period as normal then report to your testing location. Testing groups for 7th and 8th graders will be posted in the hallways by the end of the day today. Please check the list ahead of time so you know where to report. 7th and 8th graders will not be using their own Chromebooks for testing. Each testing location has been assigned a cart and each student has been assigned a specific number. On each test day you should use the specific computer assigned to you and return it to the correct slot.
5th and 6th graders will mostly be using their regularly assigned Chromebooks for testing and testing in their first period classes. Any exceptions will be communicated to you by your teacher.
Following testing on Wednesday, 7th & 8th graders will report to 3rd and 4th period. 1st and 2nd period will not meet. On Thursday following testing, 7th and 8th graders will report to 1st & 2nd periods following testing, but 3rd & 4th period will not meet. Periods 5-8 will meet each day.
