Daily announcements for the middle school are available below.  Please click on the appropriate day of the week.  We do not archive announcements longer than 5 days.

Parents can also receive daily announcements via email.  Please contact Mrs. Wyse and let her know your student's name and grade.

Saturday the Track team completed the field events and the 4 x 800 relay portion of the NWOAL Championship.  The finals of the rest of the running events will take place today at 4:00.

 

Placing for Archbold Saturday were:

 

The Girls 4 x 800 team of Brynn Hurst, Willa Ruffer, Kylie Wanemacher and Addi Kinsman

Ireland Selgo 2nd in the High Jump

Currently the boys' team is in 7th place and the girls' team 2nd.

 

All library books, fines and payment for lost books are due by Tuesday, May 24.

 

Any 8th grade boy or girl interested in playing high school golf next year, please sign up in the middle school office by today.

 

Any 7th or 8th grade boys basketball players should stop in the middle school office to pick up a Wauseon Playing Camp Registration Form, if interested in going.

 

All members of this year's 7th and 8th grade boys basketball team:  Coach Frank will meet with you after school in the gymnasium Wednesday, May 18.  Coach Miller will also meet with you after Coach Frank.

Any 8th grade girl interested in playing tennis next year, please sign up in the office. There will be a meeting for those interested today in the small gym following announcements.

If you missed the 7th and 8th grade girls basketball meeting, stop in the Office to pick up information. Reminder, if you are attending Wauseon Playing Camp, please have your Liability form and check (made out to Archbold Girls Basketball) turned in to the Middle School Office by today.

 

8th Graders: Do you have a talent that you would be willing to share with the school, as a send off for the Class of 2026 from AMS to AHS? Maybe you sing, dance, juggle, or play a musical instrument? As has become an AMS tradition we encourage you to share your talent at our last day Assembly. To sign up for an audition, please notify Mr. Shields. A panel of teachers will determine who is selected to perform at our Awards Day ceremony.

The Lost and Found table is overflowing. Please look through the items on the tables in the Cafeteria and take what is yours. We will be taking the leftover items to Care and Share after school is over. 

 

Students if you have items in a gym locker, be sure to clean them out before the school year is over. Any items left will be donated to Care and Share.

 

All students in grades 5 through 7 are invited to this year’s Archbold High School summer soccer camp. Please pick up a form in the office. Forms are due TODAY.

Parents and students need to review their forms online and provide electronic signatures at the bottom of each form to verify information is current. Print the athletic physical form and take that to your doctor.  The physical packet is the only form that needs to be printed and returned.  You can add new information or update information at any time during the year. 

For incoming students in grades 7-12 that plan to play sports, the parent and student registration needs to be completed as soon as possible in order to begin fall practices. 

Attached to this email is a help sheet to walk you through the process.

Please schedule your athletic physicals with your family doctors as soon as you can, before Aug. 1 and turn in to the athletic office either at the high school or middle school.

Physical forms need to be printed on Final Forms, once you update the information.
