We envision students using multimedia by incorporating research extracted from the Internet. For example, they might do a research project on genetics and communicate with a scientist in the field by using the Internet.

Through the exploration of new vistas, students will broaden their interests while working in individual and group settings and will learn in an atmosphere that fosters fun, enjoyable, and worthwhile learning. Picture a group of students analyzing a database of information with students in Iceland on recycling and reducing cafeteria waste.

By utilizing technology the teacher's ability to educate the students will be enhanced. With emphasis on individual learning situations involving critical thinking skills, the education environment will be an engaged learning situation.
