Archbold Elementary School Testing Information Updated: Grade 4 [Kindergarten] [Grade 1] [Grade 2][Grade 3] [Grade 4] The amount of testing students will experience during their school careers has increased over the past several years. The purpose of providing this letter is to help parents stay informed about the testing that their child will experience during the present school year. All fourth graders will take achievement tests in reading and math. The achievement tests measure what all students should know and be able to do at the end of a grade level and is used to measure a student’s progress toward meeting the state standards. The results of these tests will be reported on the State Report Card. The fourth grade reading and math achievement tests will be given in April. Kindergarten] [ Classroom teachers will administer the achievement tests to the students. All three areas of the test are given in equal blocks of time totaling 150 minutes. Fourth graders can spend a maximum of 450 minutes taking the achievement tests
